

The Slippery Rock Heritage Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization which was incorporated January 27, 1986, and whose mission is to promote the public good of the community of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area, and to promote the preservation and public usage of historic, cultural, and recreational features of the Slippery Rock area through acquisition, construction, and/or restoration of property such as museums, archives, historic sites, parks and other historic, cultural, and recreational facilities.
- SRHA presents the Joyce Murray Scholarship Award to a Slippery Rock Area High School student each spring
- SRHA presents an annual Slippery Rock Heritage Days Festival for families and people of all ages. Heritage Days features the Heritage Car Cruise and town history memorabilia display.
- SRHA holds its annual Member Meeting each November.
